Not so childish...A Childs Year Layout

This is a layout of my DS and a dear friend, they truly are best friends. All of these cuts are from A Childs Year. I wanted to show how versatile this cartridge really is....it can be used for so many things...you will only be limited by your imagination. Paper is from DCWV: Once Upon A Time and My Minds Eye. The cuts are so beautiful I only added some fiber, ribbon, stickles, buttons, a bit of stamping and a frame. The bottom paper is the DCWV and the rest are cuts made with A Childs Year with My Minds Eye papers. The quotes are: A man is never as tall as when he kneels to play with a child and A truly rich mans children run to him even when his hands are empty. TFL

Since I just got the cricut cartridge today and tomorrow is the 4th I decided to throw this together....All cuts are from A Childs year, brown vinyl and ceramic tile.....I love this cart!!!!!

I've Been Selected To Preview A Childs Year!

I am so excited....As an active member of the Cricut Message Board I was contacted by Provo Craft and asked to preview the new cartridge, A Childs Year!

The cartridge is being shipped today and I will be posting projects as soon as I get my hot little hands on it. I just can't wait to see all the things I will be able to do with the new cuts....wish me luck and please come "follow" me and see the fun we can have with A Childs Year!

My Firt Vinyl/Tile Projects

These are for a family friend who owns a business. He often jokes with his staff with these two phrases. The tiles are 12x12 and I used Storybook for all the flourish and swirls, Lyrical Letters for the words on He who signs the checks, My Community for the pen, and the ink well is the wine bottle from An Ocean of Words, very squished in DS. Storybook for everything on 1 castle 1 king. These were lots of fun to do.
