Advent Calendar from Printer Tray

Hello all....I have the great opportunity to submit some things for a big crop in Joplin in November.  There will be over 300 people at the crop with several classes offered.  One of the items I am submitting is this advent calendar made with a printer tray.  I've used Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium papers...what fun they are to work with!
the back of the calendar
I cut the naugty or nice list from the paper and added a pen nub from Tim Holts over a Martha Stewart punched snowflake.
I used another MS punch to created the wreath...there was already one on the image and I just wanted to add deminsion to it.
The scallop circle is yet another MS punch and the numbers are cut from Winter Wonderland at 1 inch.
The edges of the box are trimmed with paper cut at 3/4"...then I added tissue tape from Tim to all the edges of the tray and each box. I've also inked the edges of each box.
There are so many beautiful tags and images in this stack that the possiblities for embellishing are endless.  Just added a few punches, bling and stickles.

I used my punches throughout the box to add interest.
This is the inside of one of the boxes....I used the opposite side of the cardstock I used to make the lid to cover the bottom of each box...on this one I added some stickles and bling.
Other images cut from the papers accent the interior of several of my boxes.
There were not 25 boxes so I improvised and divided the two large boxes into 3 by making 'lids' for my own compartments.
The image of santa is just to die for...luv this paper....Each box can hold a special 'treat' for the opener as you count down the days til Christmas with you family....I plan on adding some 'christmas past' family photos to some of my boxes as well...the box will be beautiful to look at all month long.....
The pulls are made by hot glueing a ribbon loop unter the number of each box...this is strong and study enough to stand up to the gentle pull needed to open each box.
I saw the paper cutting pattern for the majority of my boxes on this video by Laura....Following the Paper Trail....the rest of the design was my own...tho I am sure someone somewhere has done it too.....The triple compartments are made by measuring the interior of the box...divided into three...when I cut the paper I backed off the shorter measurement on one side by 1/16 of an inch to give some room...then I just assembled a 'lid' just like the ones I've made for my explosion boxes.

Hope you enjoyed my calendar...wish me luck on the class submission!   and oh....Merry Christmas....LOL
