Golden Memories

This is a picture of Mcauley and I when we went up to the city to see the Nutcracker....one of my favs during the holidays....I wanted to try some new things on this layout...so...The dragonflies have three layers with the middle being velum....lifted from Jeannie Phillips on the cricut MB. I also stickled the wings and added some bling. The circle flowers are something I have been wanting to try for some time soooo ta da....and the little ribbon flowers are just strips of ribbon glued in the center and a button added. I did some paper burning and tearing and a little lacing. Added some silk & paper flowers, gold paper lace, lots of buttons & bling, ribbon, and also a bit of wire. The paper is from DCWV Rustic stack with the exception of the background piece and the solid card stock. I also stamped the word memories under golden for the title and the definition is computer generated. Thanx for looking...as always I treasure your support and comments!

Forever and ever....Amen

Hello everyone....hope you are well this wonderful Sunday evening. We took a little trip to celebrate the last weekend of summer break and today I decided to do a layout because my time will be limited now. I promise to get the award passed, but this was on my mind to finish. This is a picture of my parents...one of the last of the two of them together. I bought some great new papers from DCWV and these are from the Be Mine stack with the exception of the card stock and the off white 4x6 mat which is Once Upon A Time. I added some fabric and silk flowers along with flowers cut with the cricut. A K & Co mini frame, butterflies downloaded, printed on white card stock, cut out, pop dotted and stickled. I added stickles to the paper flowers and vine as well. Forever and ever is computer generated. I used a white lace ribbon and laced a pale pink ribbon through it...pulled it slightly and applied double sided tape. The love charm is attached to the ribbon with a pin with a purple pearl head, some bling and buttons for the flower centers. Thanx so much for stopping!

I have been up in Kansas City the past few days so have not been around much...I will pass this on after I get some rest this evening...as I am very very tired! I did get to shop at Joann's while in the city...they are having their awesome founders day sale. I was able to pick up some beautiful new papers...and yes one new cart...I went for the Paper Doll Dress Up and cannot wait for a chance to use it....probably tomorrow...LOL....I want to thank Brenda again and will be passing this as soon as I can.

Girl Friends + Girl Fun = Fun Girls

I have to give a huge shout out to Dawn over at Posh....I saw a thank you card she posted that inspired this whole layout....thanx Dawn...visit her at posh...there is a link here on my blog...This is my contribution to a back to school layout...teehee....With Monday approaching quickly I guess this covers math, reading, history, recess....mmmmm what else can I sneak in there. Oh .... art of course! I used some fun bright papers I bought at WM and added a couple of Pocket Full of Posies by DCWV. Tons of little extras from K and Co...brads and bling...pearls from Michaels (wedding aisle) some buttons, ribbon a couple of paper flowers and stickles.
