This is a picture of my father and uncle....I adore it! First I must say thanx to Sharon Barrett a fellow scrapper....I am sure many of you enjoy her creations on the cricut MB and other galleries. Sharon introduced me to a blog called Such A Pretty Mess....see the link on my blog list. Gabrielle is an amazing artist and it is her work that inspired this layout....please check out her link!!!
K & Company paper , brads and mini frame
Craft Ribbon
Craft Paint
Storybook: brothers and large frame
Graphically Speaking: large flowers and clock (time on clock 6/14 is Dad's bday)
Plantin: hearts for small flowers, circle, scallop and rectangle
Stretch Your Imagination: Swirls
Home Accents: butterfly
Happily Ever After: fans (which were used at base of 2 partial flowers)
Indie Art: Lock and Key
The small flowers are 5 hearts punched, brad inserted and fanned out. Large flowers are GS 6 layers in 1/4" increments, partial flowers 1 4 inch flower folded into forths...I applied blue and brown craft paint, folded each petal in half length wise and curled up with my fingernail. The butterfly has a bit of brown craft paint around the edges. Key, lock and clock are all embossed. The text is computer generated. Punched holes in large scallop to lace ribbon, the scallop was created with the scallop and a rectangle welded in DS.....thanx for looking.
