This is my oldest DS, Michael. This pic is a little over 4 years old and he is holding a dear family friends newborn. He always inspired me...he had such a kind heart and sweet spirit. He will be 20 in December....so hard to believe. I love him dearly, we were always so close. I am so pleased with this layout....it is totally lifted from Gabi's site...I adore her work....I love the quiet colors...it reminds me of his introspective nature.....though he was quite out going he was also a thinker and excelled in debate in high school....So anyway....I am lovin this rustic stack from DCWV...the colors are awesome. I also am pleased with the large flower which is a combo of 2 Plantin flowers and a few petals from a GS flower. I added gold stickles around the edges and center. The small off white PS flowers I drew on with a pigment ink marker...all from Gabi....and I will be doing it again and again...I really like the look. All of the swirls are on plain card stock and cut from Stretch Your Imagination. The rectangles are from Plantin and torn and burned a bit. The Scalloped Mats are the small scallop sq from Stroybook that I welded in DS to keep the small scalloped edge. A bit of ribbon, some bling and a couple of brads...and of course inspire is from the Home Accents cart. Thanx so much for stopping.....your support is so important to me!

There is no stopping your talent. wow where do I start, love the colours, I agree so quiet. Loving the burnt, curled edges. The swirls I had never noticed on SYI until you said. Just amazing Sandy, another inspirational layout.
