Scrapsketch is having a blog hop this weekend...along the way I found Laura and she has a great RAK for those interested in trying a layout with scrapsketch #2. This is my take on that sketch...
This is a pic of my DGN last Halloween...as you can see both her grandpa and great gramma are KU fans...."rock chalk jayhawk" is part of the traditional chant at the KU games...doesn't she make the cutest little rah rah girl! I used plain card stock and a bit of polka dot paper I had in my stash. I applied some stamping to the white card stock and added some ribbon and buttons and for the first time ever I did some stitching on a layout...so much fun. The journaling is computer generated and then cut with a Storybook scallop circle @ 2 inches using the center point button. The font is also Storybook and all the shapes are from Plantin Schoolbook. Be sure and check out the blog hop....lots of talent!
Love this layout, and the little outfit is too darn cute. Love what you did with the lace - nice.
ReplyDeleteI've got a couple of awards for you over at my blog Sandy, but I see you have two of them already - OK collect the third one - thanks for all your inspiration xx

Isn't she the cutest little cheerleader. I've tried sketches and I have the hardest time with them. But you did great!
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh, she is adorable! Love what you did with the sketch!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, girl! With the center point option, you are making me want the big bug. I just have the baby now but I am moving in that direction! You are such an enabler!!
